Get Involved With Beaujolais Nouveau Week At the Golden Pheasant

Every year, on the third Thursday of November, the new Beaujolais is released with great fanfare. This vibrant young wine, made from Gamay grapes grown in the rolling hills north of Lyon, is known for its lively red fruit aroma and smooth, easy-drinking style. Few traditions capture the joy of the harvest quite like the first sip of Beaujolais Nouveau.

We’ll be pouring the new vintage all week, alongside a selection of local favourites from our bar. Join us by the fire, settle into our snug restaurant, and take part in this cheerful celebration of new beginnings, good company and great wine.
